Apple chose the American actor John Krasinski for this TV spot. Krasinski is mainly known for his role as Jim Halpert in the successful comedy series ‘The Office’ , although he recently made the leap to directing the thriller ‘A Quiet Place’, also starring him and his wife, the successful actress Emily Blunt (‘The Devil Wears Prada’, ‘The Girl on the Train’).

In the spot we can see Krasinski sitting on the sofa enjoying a moment of tranquility when, suddenly, a Calendar app notification pops up on his iPhone 4s alerting him to his book club appointment. Confused, asks Siri about which book club meeting to attend, then continues to receive notifications and messages about things he had to do but forgot to do and asks the assistant to help him solve them.

The Twitter account claims that the 31-second ad was recorded in 2012, but that Apple never aired it. Apparently, this would not be too strange, because the same account claims that there is much more content of this type that remains unpublished in Apple’s files . Who knows, maybe one day the company will decide to declassify them.
