This is the RAM memory and battery capacity of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro being shuffled

As the hours go by we know more details of the latest products presented by Apple. The RAM and battery of the new iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro are some of the specifications that the company has decided not to disclose in the presentation. Now, several websites such as GSMArena or PhoneArena are starting to disclose them. However, these are provisional figures and we will have to wait for confirmation from iFixit and company. With this in mind, let’s take a look at them.

In the table above we can see the figures that are being shuffled on various websites and Twitter users. For the RAM, the only change would be found in the iPhone 11. The successor to the iPhone XR would gain 1GB of additional RAM up to 4G. This is the same amount as the iPhone 11 Pro, which would remain stable compared to its predecessors.

This last point is the most discussed. While several sources claim that the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will have 4GBm others like OnLeaks claim that both would get 6GB of RAM :

Although only one of the two could be right, the truth is that there is a third possibility. That the 64GB and 256GB iPhone 11 Pro have 4GB of RAM while models with 512GB have 6GB of RAM . This would be the same tactic used on the 2018 iPad Pro, where models with 1TB of storage have more RAM than models with less capacity.

A big jump in battery for the iPhone 11 Pro

The battery of this year’s new iPhone has been improved in all models . Returning to the table above, we can see that the changes from the previous generation are as follows:

iPhone 11: 3,110 mAh (+5.7%).
iPhone 11 Pro: 3,190 mAh (+20%).
iPhone 11 Pro Max: 3,500 mAh (+10.3%)

Both models of iPhone 11 Pro lead the battery increase. Undoubtedly, the increased thickness (7.7mm to 8.1mm) of both terminals has helped this. Last year, the iPhone XR was the terminal with the best autonomy of that generation. And now, although it is increasing its capacity, it is not doing so at the same rate as its older brothers.

Apple claims that each of these iPhones increases their autonomy by 1, 4 and 5 hours respectively . Of course, judging by the increases in battery size, provided they are confirmed, it seems that this is one of the generations of iPhone with the best autonomy to date.
