Apple is making it easy for users to view purchase history directly from their iOS devices . The company today revealed in an updated support document that you can now view your iTunes purchase history in the iOS settings application on your App Store

Previously, as noted in the support document, this functionality was only available through iTunes on Mac and PC . While you could view your purchase history through the App Store and iTunes Store in iOS, it was only for re-downloading and did not display detailed pricing information.

To view your purchase history on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, simply go to the Settings application and follow the steps below .

Go to Settings; [your name]; iTunes and App Store.
Tap your Apple ID, then tap View Apple ID. You may be asked to authenticate your Apple ID.
If you use Family, you’ll see in your purchase history what you bought using your Apple ID, but you won’t see what other family members bought. To see what other family members bought, sign in with your Apple ID – scroll to Purchase History and touch it.

Apple further explains that the purchase history is grouped by ” the date that the payment method you have on record was charged “. Items that have not yet been processed by your bank will appear under a “Pending” header at the top of the interface.
