Siri could get to the Apple TV
The idea that Apple is stagnating with Siri has been going around for quite some time, an idea that has been going around ever since Windows introduced Cortana a few weeks ago. In Applesupportphonenumber we have talked about Siri many times in the last months, telling you what, observing the patents it is applying for or the different company acquisitions, Apple has in mind for its personal assistant.
One of the aspects that I have emphasized the most when I have talked about Siri, is the need to expand throughout the Apple ecosystem . Beyond the services that Cortana or Google Now can offer thanks to Microsoft and Google respectively, Siri has to help us control our devices without the need to physically interact with them, and, Apple seems to have this as one of its goals.

With the output of the SDKs of the different operating systems, there are always traces in them of possible new models or functions. This is the case with the iOS 7.1 SDK, where code snippets have been found that suggest that Siri will be coming to Apple TV in the future . These snippets appear in both iOS 7.1 and the recently released iOS 7.1.1 but not in the earlier versions of iOS 7. In Apple’s documentation, the value 3 is assigned to Apple TV, while 1 and 2 correspond to the iPhone and iPad.
References to a new Apple TV have previously been found in the iOS 7 code, and while this finding does not imply the existence of new hardware, it is likely that Siri will not make it to the current generation of Apple TV , since it lacks an input microphone, so all indications are that this will come with a new generation of Apple TV, which has been rumored for quite some time, and in which, in addition to Siri, games and applications could play a very important role.
