Jerry McDougal, vice president of Apple Retail, leaves his position

Apple Retail , the division that manages Apple stores worldwide, is still without number one after the dismissal of John Browett and has just lost its number two. Vice President Jerry McDougal has decided to leave his position , not because of problems with the company but simply to be able to spend more time with his family. He had been in that position since 2000.
When he became Vice President, Jerry had a lot of numbers to become Senior Vice President and go on to control Apple Retail as part of Apple’s management. To be, in short, the successor to Ron Johnson and John Browett in charge of the physical stores of the Bite Apple brand. And perhaps because of this, seeing that his personal time would be much more restricted than it is now, he has decided to retire.

There is already a substitute: Jim Bean , who has been the vice-president of finance for the last fifteen years. However, Apple Retail is still without a visible head and under the direct orders of Tim Cook, which suggests that Cupertino is not choosing a new leader for its chain of stores.
