It seemed that the arrival of the last update of iOS 10.1 was going to make the Jailbreak more difficult. Without a doubt, security is one of the points that Cupertino’s engineers have perfected most in the latest version of the apple’s operating system.

The big hackers of the sector have found certain difficulties to carry out the Jailbreak, although everything indicates that this modified version would be around the corner .

Until today, the hacker Luca Todesco had been one of the few to show a version of the Jailbreak in iOS 10, through videos. However, it seems that it was Pangu’s people who decided to take the next step.

The hacker @ijapija00 has shown a video in which you can see a model of the iPhone 7 Plus running iOS 10.1 through Cydia , which claims compatibility with the iOS 10.1.1 version. In addition, this demo is based on a stable type of exploit, despite the great security innovations that had incorporated the Californians in the recent version of the iOS operating system.

iOS 10 security circumvented again

Both the versions used by Luca Todesco and @ijapija00, are based on an alternative version of the Cydia libraries . As a detail, we can see in the video that this hacker uses third-party applications to query both the iPhone model and the installed iOS version.

Unfortunately, this version of Jailbreak will not see the light of day , as the user would not plan to launch it publicly, due to the work and risk involved in launching such a tool.

Once again, the security of Apple’s systems has been circumvented. Although a public version of the Jailbreak is not yet known, already several computer experts have managed to circumvent the security of the American company’s systems . Thus, we can safely conclude that it will be a matter of time before we see a public version of Jailbreak launched by a somewhat larger organization.
