Today was an exciting WWDC and although no new devices were introduced, nor did they give any clues about it, the California-based company released updates for each of its devices . Among all the new features we have put a face to the new and expected iOS 10 that has been so much talked about during the last weeks.

The new version of Apple’s mobile operating system arrives loaded with new features and functions making it the most complete iOS to date . Thanks to them, the user experience will be much more complete and our devices will be able to help us in a much more efficient way.

But as always in these cases, not all devices will be compatible with this new version , so if you are thinking of installing iOS 10 when it is officially released (unless you are a developer), you should have one of the following devices:

  • iPhone 6
  • iPhone 6 Plus
  • iPhone 6S
  • iPhone 6S Plus

Therefore, the devices that remain without the possibility to use the new iOS 10 are the following:

  • iPad (first generation)
  • iPod Touch fourth generation and earlier
  • iPhone 4S and earlier

As we mentioned before, Apple said that there will be developer betas and public betas for iOS 10. Developers will be able to make use of the first iOS 10 beta as of today, as announced by the company during the event.

Beta versions of these operating systems are really useful for developers to prepare their applications to be compatible with that system, and also to help Apple to correct possible errors before its release to the public .
