If you are from Bankinter, you can use Apple Pay from today

Apple Pay continues to expand among the various Spanish banks. This morning we advanced that BBVA and BancaMarch would become compatible in the future with this contactless payment system offered by Apple, and to this announcement we have also added the immediate availability of Apple Pay for Bankinter’s customers, something that was already announced a few weeks ago as we told you.

We have had to wait many years to see a real expansion in Spain of this payment service since it was introduced, since first arrived in the United States and not the rest of the countries , although little by little we have seen how Spanish banks have seen the potential it has.

The configuration of the card in Wallet is very easy to do and that is why if you have a Bankinter piggyback or debit card you are taking a long time to configure it because of all the advantages it will give you when making different purchases.

However, it is possible that we will see an increase in the card statement, because with how easy it is to make purchases in shops by bringing our device close to the dataphone, it is easy that we end up spending much more money month after month, something that may be a disadvantage, but that is compensated for by the security that accompanies our payments since only the payment with the Touch ID or Face ID will be validated.
