The official Facebook application is updated with optimization for iPhone 6 and 6 Plus
If you use the official Facebook application on your iPhone a lot, this news should interest you, since Facebook has been updated to add support and optimization with the large screens of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
The popular social network has increased the size of the user interface of its iPhone application, but this update for iOS 8 has an unintended consequence , and that is that by lengthening the UI, it obviously makes the font size or typography smaller.
The update to version 16.0 does not appear to have brought any other improvements or new features to the application . Hopefully the text size issue on the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus will soon be fixed, although this will need to be resolved from the settings and text size preferences section .
From the official Facebook blog they also tell us how you can share photos from users’ reel albums or from the web in Safari , although from what seems to be the Facebook application it still doesn’t have support for the iOS 8 extensions, which allow applications to communicate with each other.
Users with the latest and newest version of Apple’s mobile operating system will have noticed that the location services settings have been enhanced with an option to always remain on, never or only when using an enabled application.
Facebook editors and representatives, concerned about the privacy of their users, wrote about it: “the app does not collect information about the location of your devices in the background (when you are not using the application)” .
