ApplePi Baker, the must-have utility for your Mac if you have a Raspberry Pi
ApplePi Baker
The holidays are always a good time to browse through those gadgets that always caught your eye but you never had time to see what they had to offer. One of them is the Raspberry Pi, a device we can use as a media center, DLNA server, NAS, retro game emulator, music server and much more.

The problem is that for users who are less involved in these issues, the simple fact of having to install different systems can be very uphill. But if you jump in, we offer you some help: ApplePi-Baker .
ApplePi Baker is a simple utility for OS X that allows us to install the images of the different systems that we can install on the Raspberry Pi. Even, install NOOBS, a distro that gives us the option to install several systems on the same card. More or less, what we would know as a boot switch.
From now on you will not have to resort to terminal commands that could, if done wrongly, delete important data. Of course there are other options similar to ApplePi Baker but its operation and usefulness is so good that it is postulated as the most interesting option for such tasks.
Also, remember that with XBMC we have support for AirPlay . So we can do pretty much the same thing as with the Apple TV. So one more reason to hold on until the renovation of the Apple’s top box set.
