Apple Watch receives its first update: Watch OS 1.0.1
Yesterday we were talking about the fact that we would probably see the first update of software from the Apple Watch at the WWDC. However, before introducing the big changes, Apple has preferred to release a minor update of its smartwatch to correct small errors or shortcomings that existed until today, and then focus on deeper changes .
That is why its nomenclature is 1.0.1, so probably the one we will see in WWDC 2015 is Watch OS 1.1 . The update, as expected, is done through the iPhone, with the Apple Watch application. As we said, it is a small update, only 51.6 MB, and it is limited to bug fixes and performance improvements.

Furthermore, adds support for more than 300 new Emoji that were already incorporated in iOS 8.3 and OS X 10.10.3 , based on the new Emoji specification from UTF. Here is the complete list of changes:
- Performance improvements for Siri
- Detect when the user is standing
- Calculating calories burned during a workout on the rowing machine or stationary bike
- Accessibility
- Third-party applications
- Support for new Emoji characters
- New languages: Danish, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Thai, Turkish
Also add that in order to perform the update, you must be within range of the iPhone and connected to power and have more than 50% battery . You can tell us if you have noticed improvements in the range of both the iPhone and the Apple Watch, or in that respect this update has not changed anything.
