Apple Passeig de Gràcia
Apple Passeig de Gràcia is one of the most important Apple stores in Spain. The space located in Barcelona has been carefully looked after over the years and has been given the importance it deserves. Now, the store will close temporarily to renovate its interior and adapt to the new generation design of the Apple Store.
While the store is closed, Apple recommends customers to use the other Apple store in Barcelona, La Maquinista. Customers can also use the Apple Store Online for purchases or Apple Online Support for troubleshooting.

One of the peculiarities of the Apple Store is that they try to maintain and preserve the history and characteristics of the space in which they are located. This means trying to maintain the original structure of the building and its exterior design and part of the interior. Apple Passeig de Gràcia is also part of an iconic building, so its exterior will probably not be modified by this remodelling.
The interior redesign of the store is likely to be similar in features to what we’ve seen at other Apple stores around the world. Features to focus Apple Passeig de Gràcia to be more a meeting point than a store, features focused on Today at Apple. This includes for example a forum where to hold the Today at Apple sessions or a huge screen-wall.
The Today at Apple sessions allow to conceive the Apple Store as more than just a store , hence they are now called directly “Apple Passeig de Gràcia” for example, without including the word “Store”. Apple’s strategy is for them to be meeting points where customers learn how to use their products and take advantage of the different creative sessions in Today at Apple.
We will see in the next few months how things happen on Apple Passeig de Gràcia. The store will open again to see its internal remodeling in a few months (probably four months since it closed, as Apple has been able to find out). So stay tuned.
