But while this is happening, AirWeb , an iOS application has arrived that offers us a browser inside our TV screen thanks to our Apple TV, while our iOS device will work as a touchpad to move around the screen, all this through AirPlay and without complicated settings.

AirWeb works by using our iPod Touch, iPad, or iPhone as a client device that will transmit the information from the website to Apple TV wirelessly using AirPlay, but the difference is that we can choose to have the page displayed on our device or full screen on the TV.

While this is happening, we will use our iOS device as a remote control to navigate through the pages using useful gestures that once we have memorized them it will not be necessary to look at our device again. We’ll even have an on-screen cursor that we can control to activate on-screen elements.

The application is compatible with second and third generation Apple TV, and from iPhone 4s, iPad 2, fifth generation iPod Touch and all generations of iPad Mini. It can be downloaded from the App Store for 1.99 eurodollars and is compatible with all available screen sizes and we need to have at least iOS 7.0 installed for it to work.
